Governor Mister Phes Posted March 25, 2007 Governor Posted March 25, 2007 I did some location scouting for a grassy knoll for this project I'm working on. At one of the locations I stopped at there was a kangaroo half beneath a bush, so I asked it "Are you dead?" and it tilted its head towards me. "Ok then," I said "Get up and I'll take some photos of you." So the kangaroo got up and I began snapping away, but the fence obstructed the view so I told the kangaroo to move to the left so I could get a clear shot - and it did! Governor Mister Phes Posted March 25, 2007 Author Governor Posted March 25, 2007 Exactly. Wallabies are a lot fatter than kangaroos. Well maybe not fatter, they're rounder with a slightly different posture and shorter arms. Quote
oo7 Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 obesity is unnatural weight.......EDIT: I see you've edited, Tammar Wallabys are only one species of Wallaby. So what do you call this? Would you call these Kangaroos lean? Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted March 25, 2007 Author Governor Posted March 25, 2007 You keep claiming I've posted a picture of a wallaby, yet you haven't managed to identify the species... Are you sure? ;-) You may have noticed I use when I'm being silly. Which is quite a lot. Really? You think I wasn't aware of that? Not in the slightest. Quote

Knowing Phes, one would think that his intial post was a frivilous over-exaggeration.....but personally, I think Psychokinesis by carbon-based organisms is a huge load of pure megablok. I'm sure animals that live with you in your house can observe and analyze discrepancies in your behavior, including posture and tone of voice, so if your acting in the opposite of your normal lively, vociferous, wall-bounding self, your pet may sense something is up. But if this is not the case, it probably just some insignificant coincidence. 8-| Quote
Asuka Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 (...) do you think they understand us? At least it seems like they can understand somehow pirate-looking guys more easily.... Quote

ghoulrealm Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 It looks like a very furry red kangaroo to me. maybe a subspecies or even a winter coat if they get those. Quote

I wouldn't say a "frivilous over-exaggeration", maybe an "embellishment" of what actually transpired. The creature did indeed stand up after I told it to and it did indeed move left when I pointed left, but the actual reason it did so was because it thought I was going to give it food, so it was very interested in what I had to offer. It looks like a very furry red kangaroo to me. maybe a subspecies or even a winter coat if they get those. Not likely since there's only one species of kangaroo in my area and it aint the red ones. Minifig Lecturer Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Exactly. Wallabies are a lot fatter than kangaroos. Well maybe not fatter, they're rounder with a slightly different posture and shorter arms. Hmm I think my work colleague is a Wallaby... Quote
oo7 Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 maybe a subspecies or even a winter coat if they get those. I highly doubt it's a winter coat as Summer just ended down under. Not really. OK.....that didn't make much sense..... 8-| I wouldn't say a "frivilous over-exaggeration", maybe an "embellishment" of what actually transpired.
