I'd like to present a very small portion of a larger MOC: The cemetery that is on the grounds of St. Anthony's Cathedral. (Yes, it finally has a name! :D)

There's a sort of shady, partially developed storyline that goes along with this whole thing, and I suppose this explains part of it. Who knows.

On to the MOC!

Here's a particularly bad arial shot of the smallish cemetery.

Of particular interest is the partially-dug grave, complete with tenant: The Valiant King, now long deceased. Though, why his old bones are hanging halfway out of his grave, I know not. :P

I'm particularly proud of the old Oak tree that sits alongside the open grave. I worked hard on that darn thing.

Finally, the military portion of the cemetery. The little wedges looked uniform, which reminds me of the endless rows of white crosses often seen at cemeteries. (No, this is NOT any sort of political statement. It's just a MOC, which really does have a context that I can't mention. Yet.)

So there we go. Nothing spectacular, but I wanted to share. :)

The oak is nice! It takes me a long time to make a good looking tree like that. You should have a variation of tombstones like small, large, and different designs like a christian cross for a tombstone. Overall very good. If you can I would make a spiky fence with a gate. *y*

Lovely MOC, Darkie! It looks very real (and I agree on the well-done tree...not meant to rhyme). The only suggestion I could make is to maybe make the ground SLIGHTLY more varied? You've done a fantastic job portreying the barren, flatness of a cemetery, but in nature, even the flattest ground isn't TOTALLY flat. Maybe just a green bump here or there or something.

Absolutely beautiful work though, I love the "vine" around the skelly :-)

Is this MOC based on the actual cemetery or is it just a concoction of your imagination to which you applied the name later?

This is a very nice MOC, Darkie. My favorite bits are the tree, the angel of death statue, and the rotting corpse sitting in his grave.

I agree with "4J" on this. The perfectly aligned headstones look out of place next to the tree and the disturbed grave nearby. Any sort of variations would improve the look of the MOC. You might even want to consider adding different types of headstones along with what "4J" suggested.
