"The house is built in the modular style", does that mean it would fit together with another modular house like Café Corner on two sides? Or is it "modular" because you can lift out each floor?

That is looking great. I love interiors, so you don't need a lot to impress me, but this has staying power. I love the parlour. The furniture looks great. The addition of a library is neat. I love the stair-runner.

I can't wait to see the upstairs.

Keep up the great work! I really need to try my hand at this. Although I like the dilapidated HH, and my daughter likes the hinge opening.

Did you mean of the kitchen elements or of the whole house? I believe I could, as I "built" all of this in LDD before proceeding to actual brick. The house, when complete, will probably be around 7000 - 8000+ pieces. I think I'm around 6000ish right now... Edited August 12, 2013 by flailx

Update: I've been doing some work in LDD to try to figure out what to do with the 2nd floor. I did a panelling study and turned it into a bath. However, I think the main bath will have wainscoting though the fixtures will be very similar.

The batroom looks great, actually. I like the large bath - it's an interesting choice of a part. Also the walls have an interesting design, and they'd look great in any room.

This is much, much better than the HH! Many of us have wanted to use the HH as a base and make a real house. You have done it with such style and lovely colors, which I adore.

Here's a view of the back, you can see the first floor toilet and kitchen windows. Also, I have "painted" the cornices light tan instead of black.

I just now stumbled on this MOCD.

The haunted house is the main reason I got out of my dark ages. Although comparing them is not completely fair (different themes and budgets) this house pales the haunted house.

I cannot wait for updates.

Man, if I had the balls to disassemble my HH, then this would be the reason to do so! I can't get over how well you designed the interior. I dont know where to start. So many little intricate details just put this house over the top: the stacked plates in the kitchen, the doorway details, the bannister. The bathtub and refrigerator builds are truly inspired, and the inclusion of the first floor study is just too cool. Thank you for sharing!
