Pablo94 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 That's right, we have to remember that's these are only prelims, minifigs can change ;) No, I'm not from Spain, I'm from Poland and Pablo is the Spanish variant of my name, Paweł ;) Quote
Legoman123 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Pablo94, Do you know what is in the interior of the ISD? Quote

michaelozzie Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 The more I look at that bar the more I see a white arm and dark torso standing behind the grey drink dispenser taps. Quote
arc Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 The more I look at that bar the more I see a white arm and dark torso standing behind the grey drink dispenser taps. I just don't see anyone behind the counter. besides, they are prelims anyway. anything could change. I mean, those squidwards could be anyone. hopefully the toy fair in February will clear things up a bit. Quote
CM4Sci Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Isn't there a toy fair this week OH! Good point! -Sci Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I'm remaining hopeful that the three mystery minifigures in the Cantina aren't all band members. That would be a disappointment IMO. Lego needs to use one of those slots for a Ponda Baba minifigure. Quote

I agree, having obi-wan without ponda would be disappointing and kind of pointless. and to be honest, I could do without the band. sure, they would be nice. but I think the figure slots are better used for other characters. Legoman123 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 It's London toy fair this week so we should get some good descriptions. (I don't think photos are allowed at this toy fair) Quote

I think they are great minifigs for this set but two of them are enough! Quote
Gremer Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 What day is the London Toy Fair? Hopefully we'll get some descriptions, features, and prices for a set or two (or all of them). Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 What day is the London Toy Fair? Hopefully we'll get some descriptions, features, and prices for a set or two (or all of them). I believe it's 21st-23rd January 2014. Quote
Gremer Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I believe it's 21st-23rd January 2014. Thank you. So, if we are getting any, we should get some news in 2-4 days. Quote
Fives Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Don't forget that the NY Toy Fair is February 16-19th, and FBTB will likely get lots of pics as usual. Very soon we shall have all the info about these sets. Quote
ha876 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 For everyone in the USA, 2014 Star Wars and Marvel Sets are listed at Toysrus They are not available online for ship to home but they should be there in store! Quote

A character that is known for losing his arm might not be great for a Lego set where removing arms off mini-figs too many times usually results in breaking the arm piece completely. Lego Spy Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Here they are! Thanks! (Under search term "lego star wars new") Quote
donbarca Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 i too would be dissapointed if all three "empty slots" will be filled with biths. maximum two or simply just one to give us another character. those who wants the full band for their moc can bricklink them. please give us a list already at the london toy fair this speculation game seems endless (useless) by now Quote
Tariq j Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I'm remaining hopeful that the three mystery minifigures in the Cantina aren't all band members. That would be a disappointment IMO. Lego needs to use one of those slots for a Ponda Baba minifigure. I think Ponda Baba would be a good minifigure, but as StoutFiles pointed out, it wouldn't really be a good set encouraging to take the arm of minifigures. But I do agree with you, it would be a dull minifigure line up with just Band Members, they could include a sand trooper or two. Quote
commandergree123 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Thanks! (Under search term "lego star wars new") I'm so happy!!!! Going to go cash a check and then tomorrow I'm off to toysrus!!!!!! :) Quote
pranas Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 There's been LOTS of characters who've lost limbs and hands in the movies that LEGO has made many minifigs of (Anakin, Vader, Luke, C-3P0, Mace Windu, etc.). I don't think that would stop them from releasing a Ponda Baba figure. If a kid is going to yank an arm or two off a minifig and break it, that's their own fault. I know I pulled my fair share of minifig arms off when I was a kid. Quote

It's not as if he's the only character lose an arm. Luke and Anakin both lose arms in the second movie of their respective trilogies. Plus replacement parts can be bought from Lego, so it's really not a big deal. Edited January 19, 2014 by strangely Quote
