Badly-designed? I mean, yes, she hypothetically has a face visible on both sides, but they're GORGEOUS face prints and, at least in photos, you'd only ever see one face unless you're photographing her with a mirror in the shot. And did you notice she has printed eyebrows? That makes for the first time the 1x3 plate has been printed, and on both sides no less!

This is actually the first SDCC exclusive that really annoyed me. My daughters are absolutely obsessed with Uni-Kitty, and would love these face prints. It just seems like such an odd choice to limit to the SDCC crowd.

Based on the SDCC reveal of a new Angry Kitty, Batman, and skeletron, I'm curious what the main build of the set will be. I figure it has to be from the end of the film based on the minifigs, but is it gonna be a larger scale TAKOS? The Infinitieth Floor scene with Business and Emmet with a capped Kragle? Bricksville town square environment for Taco Tuesday, complete with a dry cleaner and Overpriced Coffee Chain store? Maybe it's a buttload of micromanagers. I can't wait to see!

It's all in that picture. Batman, Skeletron, Angry Kitty, and a Micromanager. Probably $15-20.

It's a cheap way to get the worse version of Angry Kitty and hopefully an exclusive Batman. But yeah, It could be in the 12 dollar range, too.

More importantly, this set serves as a battle pack of sorts. While Batman and Angry Kitty are obviously unique characters (like all the "good guys" in the movie), it looks like this'll be the cheapest way to get a Micro Manager, and includes a Skeletron to boot. In fact, I wonder if part of the reason for this set was to make sure Micro Managers stay available for longer, since there weren't any in the summer 2014 sets despite multitudes of them playing a big role in the scenes with the SPACESHIP! and Construct-o-Mech.

And yeah, given that this set will likely be cheap, it WILL be the easiest way to get Batman and Angry Kitty, who had previously only been available in relatively large sets. So it does seem like it has sales potential. But I do hope that this set isn't the only one due out next year!

Well I got my Batman from a Daily Mail DC Superheroes polybag  But you know, for everyone else. And that Angry Kitty is a pro, and it also comes with his gun. I can't wait to see what other characters and sets the third wave brings! :sweet:

I hope there will be a $20-$30 "The Prophecy" set with prologue Vitruvius (with complete staff, the sparkly Judge robe, and a dual-sided head, one blind eyes, one normal), Lord Business, a robot officer, and the Kragle pedestal.

That set seems odd, maybe there is more to it and they will show it at all at sdcc otherwise it just looks like a promo set, but really not sure what lego is thinking with all this

From the wording of the information I've seen so far, that appears to be a whole small set (angry Unikitty, Batman w/ grapple gun, Skeletron, Micro-Manager). But don't worry - I'm sure it won't be the only one in the theme to be released next year.

Oops! I just thought it was like a battlepack with the three characters and the micromanager.

Prologue Vitruvius is an exclusive pack-in with the top tier Blu-ray release.

I just realized that even though I have 5 TLM sets, I don't have a single micromanager.

Probably not going to happen.

I was buying the Blu-ray anyways, so the difference between the two-pack and the top-tier wasn't so bad as if I was buying the whole thing just for the figure.

Since I collect all UniKtty's I am very annoyed by the fact there will be a SDCC exclusive UniKtty. So if ANYONE can get me one I'd be eternally grateful!

If the idea of not owning everything in a line is enough to make you lose interest in the line, you're probably taking your LEGO hobby too seriously.

I was a BIONICLE fan, and it was well-understood in that community that owning everything was not going to be a realistic goal for most people. Even if you bought every set, even if you got every single blind-packaged collectible, there were things like the gold or platinum masks given away as sweepstakes prizes which most fans would never have an opportunity to own. And you know what? Most people just accepted reality as it was and bought only as many sets and collectibles as they were personally willing to pay for. They didn't get bitter about the fact that other people might own things they didn't. After all, it's not like they'd be any better off if those things they were missing were never produced or distributed in the first place.

So I will never understand why for some LEGO fans, the idea of not owning every LEGO minifigure produced in a theme ruins a collection forever. If you decide you can't have a 100% complete collection on your LEGO budget, just don't make a 100% complete collection a goal of yours. Problem solved.

I think that these words may be well-applied to the Super Heroes forum.

Not really a set but I was at a Lego Store and by the Emmet LED flashlights they had a new one: Angry Kitty! Looks just like Uni-Kitty except new deco of course. It's the Construct-o-Mech version. Yay, more kittehs!

Let's hope they put Benny, Mini-MetalBeard and Vitruvius in smaller sets

A cheaper set with Benny or any of the classic spaceman would be really cool

Just2good reported some pictures of

, which are promising of a Master Builder Sub, since she only appears that way in that scene. (I hope you think it's okay, j2g, I thought it would be good to put on this topic!)

Although, the focus of the scene was that it fell apart (shot at illegal connections, perhaps) so I don't know how they would make a play-friendly sub. It would likely the the SPACESHIP!!! of this wave, though.

I find it odd that the SDCC shown set has a trans-black 1x1 flat stud thing, not available anywhere else. Unless it's just regular trans-clear, made dark by the black bricks..?
