changxw.vip Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Hi all, here I would like to share my full PF MOD of 42000. since I don't like put the battery box on the back like the official design. I replease the engien with the 'green' electric power. ^-^. I use 2 L motor for power, 1 servo motor for steering, 2 M motor for 2 actions. please see the movie, some pictures and LDD draft file. Here is the LDD file Video: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTY4MjEwNDc2.html http://player.youku.com/player.php/sid/XNTY4MjEwNDc2/v.swf Some pictrues: Thanks. Quote
Junpei Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Great job motorising it! May I ask you why you used silver champion wheels? Edit: Besides all the PF, are all the parts from 42000 (besides the rear wheels of course) ? Quote
changxw.vip Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 Sliver tire is thicker than original one. I like rear tire more wider. You can ignore this. If you have L and servo motors I guess you must have a 9398. I think the parts needed are no more than a 9398 set. Quote
hshah Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I got my 42000 a couple of days ago and am in the process of building it. I am looking to motorise it but am not too bothered by the engine cover and spoiler... just want drive and steering. Looking at RC mods on here, I know I need: http://shop.lego.com...attery-Box-8881 http://shop.lego.com...R-Receiver-8884 http://shop.lego.com...s-L-Motor-88003 x 2 http://shop.lego.com...te-Control-8885 http://shop.lego.com...rvo-Motor-88004 I have no other Technic sets, so what other parts do I need in order to do this? Jim Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Hi, Welcome to EB! I know there is a topic about motorizing the 42000. Let me see if I can find it. Quote
