turbostefan Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 (edited) This is a Ginaf max a-15 trial truck. It's driven 8x8 and steers with its two front axles. There is a manual 2 speed gearbox in it. In reality there were just 8 built of them, and 1 of them was driven 8x8. You can find photos are here: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=501495 Edited June 23, 2013 by turbostefan Quote
Someonenamedjon Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Can you show us the specs and underside? Please don't just post a video. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 (edited) I think it would look a lot better if the cab took up the whole front width of the chassis. Edited June 15, 2013 by Alasdair Ryan Quote
efferman Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 alasdair, maybe this is a truck for transporting tubes on oilfields. this type of truck is not unusual at these sites Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 alasdair, maybe this is a truck for transporting tubes on oilfields. this type of truck is not unusual at these sites It's not the chassis I am on about,I can understand that. What I mean is that the Daf tracks/Ginaf from what I have ever seen make the truck cabs the full width of the front like regular trucks. pint14 Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 I love the truck. Is the suspension too strong? Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 (edited) Best TurboStefan, I like your Ginaf it's a great looking and working truck . Only i think the suspension is to hard and to short for a trial truck Edited June 15, 2013 by VFracingteam Quote
cgg199 Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Looks great and has some good offroad capability. Maybe you could add some gear reduction to the steering so you have more control. Quote
Zerobricks Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Suspension looks way too hard, soften it up. Quote
turbostefan Posted June 16, 2013 Author Posted June 16, 2013 I love the truck. Is the suspension too strong? I also love this truck, my grandfather bought it 35 years ago. Quote
Someonenamedjon Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Wait, your grandpa bought it and stored it in his house? How big was his parking lot? How much did he buy it for! The truck looks great and performs very well. Quote
turbostefan Posted June 18, 2013 Author Posted June 18, 2013 Wait, your grandpa bought it and stored it in his house? How big was his parking lot? How much did he buy it for! The truck looks great and performs very well. Not just the GINAF, also the 5 other mercedeses and a lot of tractors, so yes, it is quite big! Quote
turbostefan Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) I think it would look a lot better if the cab took up the whole front width of the chassis. They also were built with a DAF cabin on it, but this is also an orgininal cabin built by GINAF. Edited June 23, 2013 by turbostefan Quote
