HayHay Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 (edited) I made a Toy Museum using '9509 : Star Wars Advent Calendar' for interiors, '7848 : Toys R Us Truck' for the 1st floor and 'Power A Nintendo DS accessory' for advertising boards. I've bought 'Star Wars Advent Calendar' for my boys. However, they never play it again so I'd like to control and organize it. Unfortunately, the building is smaller than my expectation. I could not display all of them. I got most of bricks at the Lego store pick-a-brick section; Pro: Saving money Con: The lack of color consistency Toy Museum - Front by Hay Core, on Flickr Front and Side Back and Side White bricks were running out so I added some color bricks. This building will take up residence in a street of superheroes. I made each face of Joker and Harley Quinn for that. 1st Floor Star wars room. As I mentioned before, 9509 is used for the interior. 2nd Floor Harry Potter & Pirates of the Caribbean room. It's a wax museum. I copy a phone booth design from video game: LEGO Batman 2. It is too big but I really want to make it for Clark Kent minifig. There are a few more pictures on flickr. Thanks for looking. Comments, suggestions and grammar corrections are more than welcome. Csacsa234 Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I can't find any words to describe this. That is so #badword# awesome!!! The Harley and Joker faces on the wall, the interior design, everything is genuine. And it looks really great besides your MOC's. Quote

Kristel Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 This is a great idea and novel executed! I actually like all the colours, particularly the faces on the side if the building. It all works really well together here. Your kids must think they have the world's best dad! Quote

Bricknblue Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 I have been to a Toy Museum, where they actually name "Toy of the year", I think it's called the International Museum of Play in Rochester NY. And this looks so cool! Quote

greg3 Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Now that's brilliant!! A novel idea well executed... the whole thing just comes together perfectly, the splashes of colour, the wall murals and of course the exhibits... all very clever!! Nice work! Quote
