legomuppet9 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Had a sudden urge this afternoon to make a Rock Crawler. So I did Rock Crawler by legomuppet9, on Flickr Driven by an XL motor geared down 3:1, I used the axles from Sariel's Jeep Rubicon TT (http://sariel.pl/201...angler-rubicon/) and my own middle chassis structure bit. I will confess, I have absolutely no idea how to do the suspension, so I guessed , even so it performs really well as it is so I can't have done too much of a bad job Rock Crawler by legomuppet9, on Flickr Rock Crawler by legomuppet9, on Flickr Rock Crawler by legomuppet9, on Flickr Rock Crawler by legomuppet9, on Flickr Any comments on how I could improve the suspension would be greatly appreciated, as I haven't got a clue Quote
piterx Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 did you make a video :P? i'd like to see it in action :) about the suspension i can't help you....i really don't know that much about live axle...you should ask doc_brown :P Quote
Zerobricks Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Looks messy to be honest. Especially the bending of the rear axle... Quote
z3_2drive Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Look up some ideas on brickshelf or even here...you are at risk of damaging parts here such as the shocks or the light bley axle in the rear... Quote
legomuppet9 Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 Ok... I thought it really wasn't great... I'll look around and see what I can find Quote
