Dead simple, yet effective auto valve. Works in any direction, condition, etc. Extremely simple, reliable and robust! With some clever arrangments, you could probobaly rotate motor to gain more room, but thats up to you guys to evolve the idea further:

I have to admit I am not a fan,although more expensive a servo motor would be much better results.

I do not like the bashing to the switch caused by the pump going around in circles.

Although certainly a clever idea, the constant clicking would be quite annoying in a MOC.

However, it still needs a bit improvement. I have built it and I can say that eventually, one of the red levers will get stuck between the valve and the other pushing lever, causing lots unnecessary pressure on the gears and eventually destroying them. The solution is simple however; just add a small spring with a plate on top of the red levers so that they will always return to neutral position.

It is very loud and shaky though...
