JohannesESTONIA Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Hello, I have another problem with the L-Motors. But please watch these videos, and read the description for info. Quote
pint14 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Maybe the problem is beacuse you only use 1 receiver and it cant handle 4l motors. Quote
JohannesESTONIA Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 No, I tried 2 recievers, and I realised, thet the problem is in the recivers, but also in the motors, because that has never happend with other motors. So, when I tried 1 new reciver and 1 old, then happend the both things in the videos at the same time, and when I tried with two old recivers then only happend the thing that is shown it the video with the old reciver. What should I do, contact TLG again, try two battery boxes? Maybe the problem is beacuse you only use 1 receiver and it cant handle 4l motors. Quote
hrontos Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 (edited) It looks like the receiver overload protection activates in case of the old receivers. And battery box overload protection activates in case of the new receivers. I would try two battery boxes. Edited April 22, 2013 by hrontos Quote
JohannesESTONIA Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 Try without the switch! The switch has nothing to to with the recivers, it controls another m motor for the fake v8. It looks like the receiver overload protection activates in case of the old receivers. And battery box overload protection activates in case of the new receivers. I would try two battery boxes. Yes, that was my guess also, I'll try. Thanks! Quote
Boxerlego Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 The problem is with the battery box. This video will explain everything on what is happening with the L-motors. Quote
AndyC Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 A single battery box can only handle 2 L Motors, and then only with the V2 receiver. If you're planning on a four motor vehicle you're definitely going to need at least two battery boxes so that's probably the place to start. Quote
Boxerlego Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I hope this is of help. I've powered two L-motors with 10.7 volts from my own 8-cell battery box and it worked just fine with the V2 IR receiver. Here is the . Quote

Thanks, although, I had the same problem like you can see in the video with the V2 reciver, when I used only 2 L-Motors and the aaa bb and V2. I hope this is of help. Thanks, but I don't want to use, and don't have the courage for adding more power to the motors then the original bb does. Quote
