I need pirate head gear for my minifigs. I never had te real pirates and when ever I try to make a MOC pirate, it never looks great without head gear and all I have is a black bandana. can Someone help me?

Bricklink.com is your friend! :-P

Honestly, the best way to make a great Pirate fig is to use proper Pirate parts. Those shouldn't be too expensive, for something like 5

I'd say custom sculpting over non pirate headgear (i.e. standard hair or a head). Like if you want the hat to be on one fig's head forever, just sculpt onto the head. Or sculpt it onto a hear peice so it can be removed.

There's obviously a lot of crossover between Castle and Pirates, BaronSat acquired a beard from Red Bean for one of the mini-figures in Puerto Brico. So I'm assuming Red Bean would also offer other parts which may be useful to Pirates.

Well, Unkown Artist is a good minifig accesorizor. He has some trench coats and cloaks, like jedi cloaks. THough, they are tad expensive with a set costing 10-18$.

I just Googled Unknown Artist myself - I also Googled Little Armory too so here's a link to their website, but they don't seem to have much to offer in the way of headgear.

Aggh! Noo! The site links to a bricklink store only containing SW and modern weapons! Does anyone know what happened with the old site? I bought some beautiful weapons from that site, including a medieval scimitar I modified to a pirate scimitar... It would be a shame if they don't sell those anymore...

When I last looked I'm sure there were 3 different kinds of swords for sale...

And when was the last time you looked? Do you still remember what swords?

I believe it was more than 6 months ago I looked and there were still swords...

Yes, that's where I got that drawn image from but Little Armory actually had a photogenic image of a sword "kind of like" that.

It was different though because it had serrations spanning the entire length of the blade and there was no bowl guard on the hilt.
