Alasdair Ryan Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Welcome to Eurobricks Imurval. You made a good job on motorizing the F1 car, while keeping it tidy and looking like the original version. Quote
Someonenamedjon Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Welcome to EB! I like how you used the empty sides, very compact and hidden! Quote
Nikelodeon Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Nice. I love to mod this set myself, as an F1 fan I just had to buy this set. I'm still trying to get used to electric motors with Lego as my other hobby is petrol RC racers which have terrific power/weight ratios by comparison. Quote
Bzroom Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 You did an awesome job! Way beyond my expectations. Quote
imurvai Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) Hi, I like this model very much and decided to motorize it again but this time with hiding the battery box and the IR receiver in the body. Only the driving and the steering are motorized now. Here is the result: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/imurvai/42000PartialRCMod/dsc_0964.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/imurvai/42000PartialRCMod/dsc_0969.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/imurvai/42000PartialRCMod/dsc_0973.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/imurvai/42000PartialRCMod/dsc_0974.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/imurvai/42000PartialRCMod/dsc_0966.jpg And a short video on it: Edited August 27, 2013 by Rick Per the Site Guidelines, please keep embedded images to a maximum of 1024x768 pixels.
