cheeze Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Hi folk, recently got a second hand set of power functions parts but seem to be having a problem with the red channel, There is fresh batteries in both, motors work fine, and when you push the red channel stick both the control and receiver lights blink green but no movement from the motors Any ideas Quote
Zerobricks Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Is the motor connected tightly to the receiver? Could be a bad contact. Quote
Kit Fisto Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 (edited) I had the same problem. It`s impossible to fix, try to contact TLG(They sent me a new receiver a few weeks ago) Edited March 24, 2013 by Kit Fisto Quote
cheeze Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 Well further to add to this, i pulled out the multimeter to check the voltage, so got just over 9v on the blue channel both sides ok, red channel i got just over 9v on one side but .82v on the other. Unscrewed the bottom to check in there and hey presto it works, but if you screw the bottom back on it stops working again lol Quote
Kronos Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 The bottom is pushing on something inside causing a faulty connection. You could try to find it yourself, or, call LEGO customer service and have them send you a replacement. If you're lucky they'll send you a V2 receiver as a replacement. Quote
