Hi folk, recently got a second hand set of power functions parts but seem to be having a problem with the red channel,

There is fresh batteries in both, motors work fine, and when you push the red channel stick both the control and receiver lights blink green but no movement from the motors

Any ideas

Well further to add to this, i pulled out the multimeter to check the voltage, so got just over 9v on the blue channel both sides ok, red channel i got just over 9v on one side but .82v on the other.

Unscrewed the bottom to check in there and hey presto it works, but if you screw the bottom back on it stops working again lol :hmpf_bad:

The bottom is pushing on something inside causing a faulty connection. You could try to find it yourself, or, call LEGO customer service and have them send you a replacement. If you're lucky they'll send you a V2 receiver as a replacement.
