Julandrius Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Far to the Nord of Freacre near the borders of Darkwold lies the last human fortress of the old era. This ancient city is not often visited anymore, but this day the castle crosses the path of a group of wandering forrest hunters, knocking on the ancient doors for help. I proudly present you my latest moc "Darkwold Castle". This is my first decent try at a castle moc ever, I did one medieval creation before and that was 5 years ago at least, when I was not really into the hobby yet, more like my toddler-years :P Considering this my first castle that I actually tried hard for I'm rather happy with the outcome. I did a fair job in my own opinion. This was built in 6 days btw, a fact I am quite proud of aswell, considering I'm a slow type builder this really was a rush. You can find the link to Flickr where you can leave comments as well as faves here: C&C is much appreciated! :D Hope you enjoy Quote

Mr_Malfoy Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Gorgeous MOC! I love the murky water and Shelob's cameo! Quote
TheAshTree Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Very pretty. Really impressed that you did it in 6 days. It would take me more than that to reproduce a similar scale like yours. Great job. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Tremendous work, especially for your first serious castle MOC and building it in 6 days The landscaping is superb, especially the darkworld section The swampy water works perfectly here and the layout of the castle is quite attractive to the eye. Excellent detailing on that as well, the wooden parts look amazing. You should be very proud of this and I hope you do some more castle builds soon Quote
mpaisana Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 There are so many castles these days it gets boring to watch them. This one, however, is really well done, I love the environment , epic stuff! Quote
