ToastyLlama Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 What would you do with a machine that could make any LEGO piece, set, or minifigure? What would you use it for? Personally, I would make some death stars and sell them on bricklink for 4 USD each! Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I would make 1000 Yellow Castles and sell them for $300 each. Quote
Lord Rahl of Clannad Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I would use it to make all the sets I wanted and missed due to my relatively low budget. I would also use it to make extras of some sets I own for the sake of army building and resale. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I guess I don't have a greedy mind because I didn't even think of making duplicates for resale. But that does make sense. I would end up making extra pieces for MOCs and extra figures for army building. Otherwise, I'd make a few sets here and there that I missed out on. But if you're going to make extra sets for resale, then the early Modulars here I come! Quote
Esurient Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I would make another grand carousel and keep it sealed. I would also make all the minifigures I want with its accessories so I dont have to buy from EBay and other sites again! Quote
Crackerjack Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I'd make a Cafe Corner, Grand Carousel & 10179 Millennium Falcon for my personal collection. As for making for re-sale, it just wouldn't feel right IMO. Quote
Leo604 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 On a smaller scale, probably just weapon molds or minifigures from my favourite movies/TV shows. Quote
Brickington Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I would make anything and everything LEGO. Every single set and minifig I would make. And then I would make plenty of duplicates and sell them and quit my job and then make a human scale LEGO city wit alll of my bricks! And start a country called the Kingdom of LEGO. And make an army of LEGO soldiers and rule the world!!! Ok, I am done, go to get out of my fantasy now. Quote
dvsntt Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I would replace all matter in the universe with Lego elements. Quote
Soluzar Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I would want to make some sets from the early years of Technic, for personal gratification. They are quite rare now, and there's no way to be sure that moving parts like motors and pneumatic cylinders will still work perfectly. I'd also want to spread the joy around, by making a vast number of those rare and valuable Technic elements to sell at discount prices. I wouldn't want to make money from it, you understand... I'd just be selling them via Bricklink so that the world could get access to them. Quote

All kidding aside I would make the Taj Mahal, so I wouldn't have to shell out upwards of $2000 to get it for my girlfriend. I love her just not quite that much... Quote
Mr_Malfoy Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I would make every single LEGO set I want to get but don't have the money, along with lots of Uruk-hai Army and Orc Forges. Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I would get a few Uruk-hai too..... I don't know, maybe... 10,000? Quote
Spider-Man Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 All kidding aside I would make the Taj Mahal, so I wouldn't have to shell out upwards of $2000 to get it for my girlfriend. I love her just not quite that much... Hahah made my day! I would make as many Marvel characters I can imagine, and then when (if) that is done I would start working on DC since TLG seems to be overly fascinated with Batman. Quote
LukeClarenceVan Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I'd make Clone Commandos, Mandalorians, and KOTOR Sith Troopers, among other minifigs. Those are the only things one can't just make from bricks... Quote
JeagerEX Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) What would you do with a machine that could make any LEGO piece, set, or minifigure? What would you use it for? I will make any CMF Series from 1 to present and any minifigs from the original themes and I'll keep them for my collection. So I'll not got to any stores and save more money. Flipz Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) I would make a full-out stop-motion film studio and sets to translate the EB Heroica RPG into tv show format. Or at least, enough bricks to build all of the Quest sets and characters at once. Edited February 7, 2013 by Flipz Quote
Daenerys Targaryen Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I would make my own 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series sets and of corse, the mandetory army build of minifigs! I'd love to see a large minifig army of Lannisters modeled after the look HBO has given them and re-create the Battle of the Blackwater, plus a large force of Unsullied with Dany and her dragons, plus Jorah, Arstan Whitebeard & Strong Belwas. Oh and I'd make an army of Easterling minifigs including the mounted Kataphraks and other specialists all of whom would be led by Khamul. Quote
TheAshTree Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 I would use that machine to make my very own castle display. And a massive army of good and evil knights. Quote
Fives Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Army building. Making literal clones of Clone Troopers, building up Orc and Uruk armies, everything! Nothing would be impossible! Quote
korpen4444 Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 I guess I don't have a greedy mind because I didn't even think of making duplicates for resale. But that does make sense. Electricsteam Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 I'd make a speacialized Lego Pneumatic Train Pistion for my pneumatic ES. co. Locomotives Quote
Str0ngbad Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Assuming I'm limited to what LEGO has designed, I'd start with making the elven shields and helmets from the LOTR video game since it would be better and easier than making the stupid things myself. Then it would be a glorious number of Elronds (for their back printing), elven staffs and elven hairpieces. Oh, and comic con Rogue. Quote
Good Cragger Fan Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 (edited) I would use that machine to make my very own castle display. And a massive army of good and evil knights. I would do the eaxct same thing, though I would just merely be expanding on my current Castle displays. As for what I would do if I had a machine that make any LEGO element: I would make thousands upon thousands of the new Black Falcon shield that is found in the 10223 Kingdoms Joust set; an alternate Cragger and Cominus minifigure head, where the dual-expressions would be much more friendly and/or heroic-looking and much less angry and/or evil-looking there (and the same thing would apply to most of the other Crocodile minifigures' heads (except for Crooler and perhaps Crug and Crawley)); and an alternate Cragger and Crominus head mask -- where Cragger would have Crominus' Crocodlie Crown helmet in being printed on it (to signify that he is now the new Crocodile King), and Crominus would have no Crocodile Crown helmet that would be printed on it (to signify that he is no longer the Crocodile King) but his light grey goatee (or whatever it is called there) and eyebrows would be printed on the head mask, instead.
