The subject is pretty self-explanatory. I searched and didn't fine much that actually compared the components of both models. I understand both use the buggy motors and the 8366 has an aux. power outlet. What I wanted to know:

- What are the differences between both battery packs?

- What are the reasons for the aux. power outlet?

- Do both offer 3 RF channels?

- Is the steering adapter necessary? I have seen a few mocs that didn't use it and the steering was horrible. - I also seen mocs incorporate PF motors to these battery packs, does that mean you can control PF motors through the RF signals?

As you may have already learned I am not too happy with IR or Bluetooth. I enjoy RC but I enjoy building more. I understand plastic can only withstand so much stress but that doesn't mean the plastic parts shouldn't be able to handle any more speed than a snails pace. I just wish both worlds could come together.

There are 2 versions of sthe steering unit. One is wthout AUX output and can only drive and steer.

The second has a third output activated by paddles on the remotr. The third output is very usefull if you want to use xternal steering motor, or a gearbox.
