I noticed the poster i the background of the latest entry in this thread. Haven't seen it before... Anyone know when/where it originated?

God Bless,

This poster was included in my 6280 Armada Flagship (which I bought for 10 euro's MISB two years ago :'-) ), it shows the same picture as the lego catalog from 1996 did, but it's nice to have that picture enlarged.

What region was the set from?

Thanks much and God Bless,

So quite possibly this post could have been included in all the large sets which was released in 1996. However, that would limit it to the Armada Flagship and Red Beard Runner since there were no large land based sets released that year.

So as I was saying... You can find it in the catalog of 1996....

Mr Willems you could always laminate or frame your posters so you could display them without fear of ruining them... Must be a pity to have all those great posters that don't see the light of day...

That sounds like a good idea, when I have my own house with my own lego-room in it it will make a nice display of legoproducts over the years.

However I am still studying so my own house will have to wait a little... I don't have the space right now, living in my 7-square-meters-room (really!) in Amsterdam.

I had the posters hanging from the walls when I was a little kid, and only one or two have little damage at least they will stay okay when filed in an ordner.

A gross simplicity of lamination is slipping the poster between two sheets of special plastic then they're melted together so the poster is encased entirely within plastic.
