just2good Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 My 3 minifigs finally arrived! The Yeti, Gingerbread Man, and Barbarian. http://www.flickr.co...N03/9512637624/ By the impressions of these 3, Series 11 may be one of my favorite series yet! And to think you weren't interested with this series at first. Gingy looks to be my favorite out of those, he looks cute in person! Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Now that I'm finally back, I feel fit to burst with the urge to get some CMFs. From what I gather, they're at TRUs in select states? If so, I will definitely pick up Gingy, Scarecrow, and the pleasantly common Yeti, and maybe even the Waitress that's grown on me. The slight name changes are interesting, too. Pretzel Girl? Really? We missed you, dude. I haven't seen any reports of 'em at TRU yet. I just heard that they're at WH Smiths in the UK. Link? Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Brickset has it in its news. Where did the USA residents who have them get theirs? Quote

just2good Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Here you go. That's a store in the United Kingdom, and a United Kingdom shopping article. Though, I expect these to hit North America by next week. Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 We mentioned it being in the UK, though. Not the US. Quote
JeagerEX Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 For the US, I hope they will be available at TRU, But please not Target stores early. Quote
TrumpetKing Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 For the US, I hope they will be available at TRU, But please not Target stores early. Why? I'd love for Target to get them early. Unfortunately, my Target never has them though. Quote
TrumpetKing Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Oh, and I found a nice video review of these on Youtube, for those who are interested. Quote
AmperZand Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 As stupid as I may sound, where can boxes of CMF's be bought at? I'm planning to get a Series 11 box eventually, but I have no idea where to buy it at. I have reserved a sealed box from a branch of WH Smith. They said it should be ready for me to collect next week. Some branches already have them in stock. Quote
305Bats Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Why? I'd love for Target to get them early. Unfortunately, my Target never has them though. And they're cheaper than TRU! Quote
Dragonfire Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Series 11 is in all my local WHSmiths (in the UK) Quote
escortmad79 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 (edited) My wife picked me up 3 today from WH Smith, got the barbarian, female scientist & female robot Edited August 17, 2013 by escortmad79 Quote
NiceBloke Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 (edited) I've got 10 bags from WH Smiths so far: 2x Gingerbread Man 2x Constable 2x Lady Robot 1x Holiday Elf 1x Mountain Climber (though, with a pickaxe I thought he was a cave explorer/spelunker) 1x Welder 1x Grandma Edited August 21, 2013 by NiceBloke Quote
JeagerEX Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Series 11 is now listed at TRU. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=23766826 Quote
Trance89 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 (edited) I don't know if this has been discussed over here but does anyone know if the series 11 will not be released in some countries although they have had all the other series? I was browsing the website (Dutch) of my local Lego store and they sold them for € 3,99 instead of the usual price of € 2,49. When I read the description, the first thing mentioned was that Lego isn't going to release series 11 in the Netherlands. If this is true, This is VERY dissapointing. Alfadas Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 I hope this is not true, I want the Barbarian! I need him! The other figs are not important to me, so I guess I can buy him online. Going to the store is much more fun, but online shopping will do I guess . Quote
JeagerEX Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 I think TRU has them already in stores, not online. I'll check them out this Saturday. Quote
bekindsorewind Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Series 11 is now listed at TRU. http://www.toysrus.c...ductId=23766826 The site took it down by the looks of it. Quote
Jargo Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Bought a couple of Evil mechs from Ebay. Good price too. I'll be replacing the heads with 'human' ones to give my Blacktron gang two advanced fighters. I very nearly got the scientist and welder too but as I'm collecting parts for a large spaceship and a bunch of older space minifigs, I decided to leave them for now. My step-neice was very excited to hear that WHSmiths had put out series 11 though. Hopefully she can find the Yeti she craves and doesn't end up with the female robot her mother wants her to have. Tom Jurassic Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Thanks for the heads up, will visit WHSmiths soon! :D Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 23, 2013 Author Posted August 23, 2013 Got 12 on Wednesday. Not a bad bunch! Loving them! -Sci Quote
