Being a Lego and a Lotus fan, I decided to make a Lego Elise. I'm not completely happy with it, but it's OK. The front is too high, because I placed the gearbox at the front. It has quite some functions:

-opening doors and boot

-fake inline 4 driven by the wheels

-working 6-speed gearbox

-independent suspension

-steering

-differential

You can find more pictures in the flickr set

Edit: Hmmm, just realized that I wrote LEgo in the topic title instead of LEGO of Lego

Great MOC! The car was pretty hard to make out of lego due to the very curved lines. and WOAH! thats a stuffed underside! That came to me as a suprise for such a small MOC.

Nice mix of studless, studded and SNOT. Love the chromed wheels too.

Thanks! I'm not sure if you meant this, but I didn't get them chromed. They are original Lego parts :classic:

I like the studded body as well. The model looks great. How does the steering work?

You can see how the steering works at the picture DLuders posted in thsi thread. It was quite difficult to make!

@ timslegos: The STUDLESS car's steering underbelly can be seen in Luc.2000's Flickr photoset. There are a BUNCH of rubber bands used for "return-to-center" steering:

Actually, the rubberbands are mostly for the suspension, not return-to-center-steering, although they do this too.

Yeah, as I said before, this little car has all the functions of a real Technic Supercar! I didn't have any room left at the back, so I had to place the gearbox in the front of the car. Because the engine is in the back (middle) of the car, there are two drivetraines going through the chassis.

I'll be happy to make any additional pictures, if anyone is interested in, for example, how the gearbox looks, or the interior. Just saw that I didn't made aqny real close-up pictures.
