The Classic-Pirates.com news scout team has done it again.

Today Horry has found this simple but very well displayed MOC called Jolly Roger. Simple yet well executed, I love the shark mouth, it just looks right.

This is an interesting MOC to be sure, but the name "Jolly Roger" seems rather generic...

However, if we're to read the description on the FlickR page we get some insight as to why the creator titled the MOC in such a way:

Few know the origin of the Jolly Roger flag. The frighteningly true tale is that Captain Roger was betrayed by his crew and made to walk the plank, anchor tied to waist. His body was taken to the bottom where his spirit took control of a giant undead sea creature. His laughing spirit, with the help of this creature, took revenge on his crew and all pirate crews who betrayed their captain from that time forward. Pirate captains fly the Jolly Roger as a reminder to their crew to keep their place.

He also mentions...

"Arrr, 'tis true." (Disclaimer: May not be true.)
