Boonta Eve Podrace Stadium

Hi,

today I want to show you just a small hint of my actual building project: Boonta Eve Podrace, Episode 1.

I began last November (2011) and I will display it the first time this year in November, Cologne at the LEGO Fanwelt 2012.

So here are two short Teaser-Images of what you can expect:

It isn't finished yet, so let me know what you think about it. Of course, there will be more "life" (minifigs, podracers etc.)...

I like it very much. In particular, the amount and variety of minifigs is very fateful to the look of the people in the original scenes, and they add much life to the model. Podracers will look awesome with this. Will be looking forward for more pics! Thanks for sharing your great work!

This is looking great. I too love the variety of the mini figures in the stands.

I love how you used the old skis as the roof or shades.

Yes I used the dark tan round slopes from Jabbas Palace!

Keeping Track on how many Parts I use will be too difficult. After finishing this project I will count a small part of this Layout and multiple this round about..(-;

Whoa! That is ridiculously immense, that had to take some crazy planning and collecting of materials...can't imagine the length of those instructions This is epic and very close to what I remember seeing in that scene in the movie! Keep it up and looking forward to the final product!
