Best Bionicle?

I'm fairly certain that "LEGO Other Products" means non-liscenced, non-castle, and non-train sets. In other words, Eurobricks is open for every line.

And actually, there've been quite a few Bionicle sets that have just as much mechanical function to them as a regular Technic set. Bahrag, Boxor, Nui Rama, Nui Jaga, Muaka & Kane-Ra, Manas, Tarakava, Ussanui... I was able to learn a thing or two from those. So until you get as many Bionicle sets as I do, don't criticize by making assumptions about things you know nothing about. It'll make your arguments seem a lot better.

That's the most bull****ing answer I've ever heard. Clearly there's was no point of arguing why Bionicle is so crap if you think Bionicle has as much functionality as Technic. You can contiune blabling away and saying whatever you want but...

1) Bionicle is crap and it's insulting to LEGO's name

2) It may bring money in but LEGO still reported a loss and I'd rather see LEGO lose more money and seeing them make more duplicates of 6 and the same colours

3) Bionicle strip away a child's imagination

4) Bionicle is NOT an introduction to Technic. (that's why LEGO made the mini Technic sets) and

5) Bionicle is a waste of plastic, I'da rather see containers made out of the plastic.

And this time, this is my final answer for sure as it is useless to talk about it and the thread was already getting old until some Bionicle fanboy had nothing to do and decided to revive a dying thread for no absolute reason.

And as a future note, my three pet peeves are: 1. Bionicle 2. USA and 3. consoles, so just think before talking about those, because I just might drop by and "insult" you.

I do realize that Viking sets have BIONICLE pieces, and that's the one thing I don't like about them. Still, it's mostly constrained to the monsters, at least. The only exception, of course, being the BIONICLE-style shields used on the fortress. Still, it doesn't look too bad, and in light of the first really good historical theme in a long time, I think we can overlook it.

Guys, please, think before you reply. For the good of us all. I know for a fact, that there are people out there who look at some old sets - Castles perhaps - and just dislike them. Really - it's true. However AFOL's love them because they grew up with them, and got hours of enjoyment from them. In thirty years or so, the new AFOL's will remember Bionicle as a great theme. Which it is - I bet nobody here could make such a large fanbase and amount of money in a few years. So you may not like it now, but the to-be AFOL's, maybe even me, will look back at Bionicle as a great theme, maybe just because they liked it when they were a kid, like a lot of AFOL's like their old castles now. The so-called "decline of Lego" may be just because AFOL's aren't kids anymore, and don't see the whole amazement thing of a new series. I'm all for Bionicle, and I'm all for old sets ( I NEED 6086 Black Knight's Castle!). So please, have a think before you just go out and bash it. Some (perhaps most) BZP members act stupid about it, yes, and I see how that could affect an opinion. But really - it ain't that bad!
