So after watching the Top gear Aventador clip, I HAD TO make a fast low and simple as possible RC car. For this purpose i ditched all gears and diffs, and connected the rear RC motors diretcly to wheels via Cv joints. This way there is suspension crucial for good performance, especially outside where there are small bumps and salt.

Even though the car is a bit short compared to original, it drives very well. The ungeared RC motors push all the power to rear wheels with no loss in gears. The suspension on all wheels uses vertical springs to save on space and keep the model simple and cool.

The car has 2 PF lights powered by RC's third function for that cool factor.

The underbody is simple and clean, like supercar's underbody should be. Notice the lack of usual traditional diffs and gears.

A little PAINT.NET bluescreen play:

And the usual video of the speedy thing:

I really like how car can do a burnouts :-) Did you put the tyres in some dust to kill the friction, or is the model so light and powerfull that it can do burnouts by itself? Really cool little project

Here is that

that Zblj mentioned:

@ Zblj: Nice MOC! Is this the fastest Lego Technic car that you've made? Are you planning on making an LDD file for it?

That is very cool, I'm not a huge technic fan, so to be honest I came into this thread thinking the title was a typo, but damn that is cool. I love the power it has and how much like a real RC car it acts.

It looks fantastic, one day I may have to get into the power functions stuff.
