DLuders Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 solde/ solde1 posted this of his Lego Technic Boxster Turbo engine (used in Porsches). This model is a Flat-4, to simulate the Boxster's Flat 6 engine. With gearing, it can rev up to 6,000 RPMs! I wonder if there is a small pile of plastic dust beneath this engine.... Quote
De Sandman Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Wow...wow...wow...that's amazing!!! Since i've joined Eurobricks i see amazing things i've never dreamt of, the technic has evolved amzingly. Quote
timslegos Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 6000 RPMs?!? haha the creator must have made a typo. Anyway, that is very impressive. tim Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 While the timing and valve system isn't realistic, solde1 has created a clever and compact system for moving the valves back and forth. Pretty cool! Quote
Burf2000 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Very cool, maybe he do instructions? Quote
Zerobricks Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 (edited) Wow...wow...wow...that's amazing!!! Since i've joined Eurobricks i see amazing things i've never dreamt of, the technic has evolved amzingly. I peronally think its fine, I've seen much more advanced and better technic Moc's TBH. And he uses 9x gearing from M motor, which in best is 405 rpm x9 arround 4500 rpm. Edited November 23, 2011 by Zblj Quote
