Sokratesz Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Nice clean car base, but make sure you take the weight of the XL motor into account! For inspiration for a body, check the LEGO supercars or just browse any car catalog ;) - Sok. Quote
allanp Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Yeah, look up pictures of real cars until you find one or several that you like, and then break it down into smaller chucks. Concentrate on how you are going to re-create each line and curve of the car. Quote
DLuders Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Have you seen Jurgen Krooshoop's "Small RC Red Racecar"? You may get some good ideas from it. Quote

DLuders Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Nice! It looks a bit like a Fiat Bravo: Quote
timslegos Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Nice car! I like the lines of the hood. Tim Quote
Jurgen Krooshoop Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 There's some goodbuilding going on there, Jack-Jedi. I can see some similarities with my Small Red Racecar, I recognized the bumper. It looks like your car has return-to-centre steerings as well. With me it works best to just start building, keep what you like and change or remove the things you don't like. Quote
Yiharua Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Good moc jack! I like the design and the lines. Very clear. It has the usual empty sensation of technic moc´s. Quote

chorlton Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Thanks for posting your progress! I have enough sets to consider my own MOCs now but lack a. the time and b. the inspiration. It's heartening to see that it takes time to go from a rough frame to a finished model. Quote
