My 8265 rc can lift it without a problem, only the mounting points are different at this time, so it cant replace the original bucket without modifications.

That looks pretty cool, but are you just taking a break from the new tow truck/wrecker with the new tires, or have you come across a major problem.

Good Luck with both!

there is indeed a major problem: to much ideas at the same time  actually the 2014 flagship 42030 is buzzing in my head. so i have no chance to get out  hopefully the big thing is getting out of my head soon to finish the K100

but in meanwhile, the rear axle (lxf file) for a big wheeled loader

iam curios which steering system lego will use at the 42030 and where they will place the motors.

I place the motors in the back and use linear actuators for steering. In combination witha pendular rear axle the gearbox in the articulation area is pretty complex.

If the rumours are true then the steering will be Servo controlled. How though, I don't know either..

That is pretty cool, but personally I would stick to the lego bucket. I really think it looks good, is original, and functions well. Can't wait to see more!

In my opinon with a narrower wheelbase, 2 or 3 studs, the front loader would be more realistic Efferman. As I always say this kind of machines are narrower than we think. Good work in the Lego parts  .

you are right with the width of wheeled loaders, but i have a solid model of a liebherr L574 in the same scale which iam build

I have the bucket of this model on my loader and my loader has the same width of the bucket. so i think my loader is in scale. maybe it looks so wide, because there is actually no cab and engine bonnet on it.

@ unimog123

i can use both buckets, this one for digging, the other with liftarms for display. the liftarm bucket has not really good capabilitys in picking up parts from the floor. And an RC loader which can not good digg is not funny to play.

I agree completely. A bucket that can't dig isn't fun to use. I felt the same way with the 8043 Excavator, I took it outside and it could barely dig. Probably just the weak M motors. Can't wait to see more!

indeed, the Ms on the 8043 are the reason for the bad digging performance. with Ls it work much better

btt:

the chassis has get its final chassis revision, so i can go to the optical things.

To bad I took mine apart already. This thing is coming along great, although I'm not so sure about a white cabin. Maybe it will look better when it's done.
