Governor Mister Phes Posted August 20, 2006 Governor Posted August 20, 2006 Why would we delete the topic? Someone else might have the same question one day and this thread could provide them with useful information. Unfortunately I don't have an answer to your question... Quote
ghoulrealm Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 just to be clear we are talking about this piece like this Right? If so the top has a stud and will connect to the bottom of another top mast, but it's unstable due to the length. Quote
Admiral Starwind Posted August 20, 2006 Author Posted August 20, 2006 Nope we are talking about part No 30047 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=30047 Quote
El Bucanero Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Sprit1 Am I getting closer? Yes you are but the front sprit needs to be on the first...click here Quote
gui45 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Yes it can be attached above (on top of 30047), that's what I am doing on the new masts for my frigate. Quote
Admiral Starwind Posted August 20, 2006 Author Posted August 20, 2006 Nope Ghoulrealm hit the nail on the head with how i wanted it on bowsprit1 cause i donr like how it attaches on top Quote
El Bucanero Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Nope Ghoulrealm hit the nail on the head with how i wanted it on bowsprit1 cause i donr like how it attaches on top Well, it is more realistic with attached on the top, real ships had it like that.... Quote

Admiral Starwind Posted August 21, 2006 Author Posted August 21, 2006 ah i see hmm well interesting Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 21, 2006 Governor Posted September 21, 2006 Sprit1 So what's happening with this bow sprit? Which MOC is it intended to be use for ? Quote
El Bucanero Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 That Bowsprit isn't that sturdy(altough that doesn't matter if you use MLCAD) I think this one remains the best... Quote
Admiral Starwind Posted September 28, 2006 Author Posted September 28, 2006 It was intended for the St Lawrence but i never used it Quote
