Kikuichimonji Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Hey guys, I've building something again after a 3-month break, and I need some advice on it. Here's some pictures to make things easier to explain: Now, this will be the engine part of the ship. I'll attach the main body to the belly of the engine. I've decided that the main color will be yellow and the secondary color will be dark grey. Don't mind the orange, tan and lightgrey parts, they will be replaced after I've done some bricklinking. My question is quite simple: I want to add a third color for small detailing. I settled for transred at first, but I've thrown that out since the engines will be transred as well. The transred seen in the pictures will all be removed with the exception of the engine itself. I have come down with a couple of options, namely: * transgreen * transblue * red I'm tempted to go for red since it has a larger quantity of different pieces. But, what color would you suggest? And if you have another color in mind then the 3 I mentioned, just let me know. Thanks for helping me out!
ApophisV Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Dude, I'd go with the transred you already used and replace the engine color instead! IMO the transred fits perfectly to the yellow/dkgrey color scheme. A solid red would make the vehicle look to colorful while both the transgreen and transblue would break the kinda "warm" color scheme...

Or is your heart set on three? I know it's the trend, but hey, some of the most brilliant MOCs went against trends
Kikuichimonji Posted August 20, 2006 Author Posted August 20, 2006 I'm gonna go for transred then. Guess I'll make the engine transblue. Thanks for the help guys! Sne, you may close this :redsmyliehappy:
