I moan a lot about Lego now but promoting inclusivity is something I feel Lego does very well these days.

I still don't know what the colours are. Reddish orange head and torso, red legs and arms for the elephant suit and coral for the bricksuit?

The minifigure head from S28 Frog Suit CMF is reused here for the elephant's minifigure head.

For some reason the jester do not scream Castle to me, looks like a modern jester so the wave is of little interest to me personally :shrug_oh_well:

The more I am looking at jester, the more it becomes familiar to me. I felt Kirk I saw that jester and its colors before. I felt like that jester as a mascot for animatic company when I was a kid in 1990s. I don’t know if it’s Lego’s intention to base the minifigure on that mascot jester or make the minifigure “trans”.

Correct. I got these last week and the elephant legs and arms are red, brick suit is coral.

^^^The mushroom girl has a different torso print and legs. I wish they differentiated her more. Perhaps a different torso color? I also wonder what other mushroom cap color could have worked?

Is 3 figs the new wave standard?
They look nice, but not so useful to me, maybe the flower-girl can be used in a Castle setting:shrug_oh_well:
Should be dream wave for mushroom-village collectors:wink:

It is mostly the standard for the "seasonal" releases e.g. Halloween and Christmas.

These March BAM are "Spring" themed. Sometimes the seasonal releases are incorporated into that quarter, sometimes they're separate. Think of the dark red and orange honey bee girl, lime green bunny costume in overalls and the magenta chili pepper farmer from 12 months ago. Halloween figures usually get a separate release but they didn't in '24.

I haven't counted but it seems 2025 saw the most BAM figures released and they did more than the usual quarterly schedule. It's a good idea if the plan is to get customers in store more frequently. BAM is the only reason I visit a Lego store, as an example.

Hi!! How are you!!!
The highest number of minifigures was in 2024 with 41 minifigures. I usually count them year after year. Here's the number of minifigures for the last three years.

2025 —— 40

2024 —— 41

2023 —— 40

The dress on the flower lady looks nice, between that and the S29 "unicorn elf" we're getting a mini-boom in parts for nature nymph type characters.

I'm glad the seasonal BAM are in addition to the quarterly releases.   The first quarter release of only Ninjago themed BAM was of zero interest to me.  So at least with the 3 figs released in February and the upcoming 3 coming in March there will be figs I'm interested in getting.  I'm not a fan of some of the quarterly releases being centered around a specific theme like they've been doing with Ninjago and Dreamzz the past couple of years.

It very much is. I'm looking forward to use some of them in this (Jonas Kramm's creations).

Thanks! I loved the two BDP sets and someone told me about his third (failed) submission bring made as instructions. So I hopped onto it and got the parts. Really fun and whimsical, along with some very clever building.

I'm always using your IG as a reference and linking to it here, it's a great resource!

And thanks for doing the count. It's interesting to see the past few years were about the same number of figures released, it's not what I would have guessed. Hopefully we can anticipate for about 27 more for 2026.

Very nice! I still need to commit to ordering the parts for the third one. Never special ordered the parts for a model that large all at once before so it's kinda daunting.

After spending quite a while doing large orders manually, I found a browser extension called BrickHunter that makes it so easy - BrickHunter - Chrome Web Store

You can get a parts list from Rebrickable or Bricklink, paste it into BrickHunter, and it will then allow you to create LEGO PAB carts. I've found it to be more reliable than Bricklink's Easy Buy option, although it's worth noting that LEGO PAB has cart limits of no more than 200 unique elements in each of Bestseller or Standard, which has sometimes thrown it. There is a 'Split' function built into BrickHunter to try and resolve this and create two separate orders, but I feel like I've lost parts in the process before as I miss pieces during the build. What I don't know is whether it's the split function, the parts list conversion, or the original inventory that was inaccurate as I've not thoroughly investigated. But in general it's been really good and it's fabulously quick.

I started using it before you could upload a parts list to PAB. I've also tried doing that, but find that errors (wrong part number, out of stock, not available) are more troublesome to deal with.

Hey everyone! I've finally finished updating my BAM website, which shows the parts for every minifigure from 2017-now, and official (or near-official) configurations from 2020-now. (There are a few errors in the official photography, but I've done my best to document them.) You can use it for quick, reliable reference while you're in-store.

There are still a few bits of information that I'm missing, so if anyone reading this has any insights to share, I'd really appreciate it. I still need to comb over a lot of this thread for anything I might have missed.

Hey lego_bam! I've found your photographs to be very helpful in the past. Jsyk, though, I do think 40 minifigures is standard? For 2024 Q1, you have eight minifigures photographed, when only the usual seven were actually released; the eighth seems to just use a different combination of the same parts. So I think that's where the discrepancy is coming from!

Hi, I have been trying to figure a lot of these out and have done lots of research as well, I did not know there was even any 2017, the 2018 2019 and 2020 have given me the most problems for sure, I am still confused by some of yours even, one for example is the mermaid with the lobster, it has always been shown with the yellow hair however in your list you show that yellow hair for another quarter ..it's all so confusing with these early ones
