Zerobricks Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 I decided to try something non motorised. The idea for the model came from my job, where these jacks are used to lift pallets. The single LA is powered by a handle, which uses a special richet nechanism which allows you to lift or lower the LA depending on the handle position. Lowest position: Highest position: The handle: The rachet mechanism: Download instructions HERE Quote
efferman Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 you made my day I have tried this a few months ago and my solution was not so simple and effective. great job Quote
DLuders Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) This is really neat! I created a PDF Parts List -- download it here via SkyDrive. Your Pallet Jack requires 178 parts and 67 steps to complete. Edited February 24, 2012 by DLuders Quote
mostlytechnic Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Fantastic - love the working handle to raise it! Quote
vmln8r Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Nice one - I suppose this is for the Technic challenge? I still haven't got any good ideas for that. Quote

rjk1977 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 (edited) nice palletjack, never seen one before with a v24:tongue: great build , but isnt it faster when using pneumatic?? Edited March 7, 2011 by rjk1977 Quote
grohl Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Simple, yet very cool. I have seen one much smaller on the Czech LEGO Forum using pneumatics, but I cannot find it. Quote

grohl Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 None of them is Czech, so none of those jacks is the one I meant. I gave it another try and still no success. Quote
AndroTech Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 All of them are great, but I think, that the Zblj's is first one, without pneumatics. That affects on looks and design of the undercarriage. IMHO, it is MARVELOUS. Good job Zblj. Quote
Paul B Technic Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 This looks really good and seems to work well. I have always wanted to build something like that but have never been able get it to work right, well done. Paul Quote
