Superkalle Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Found this cool rendering while browsing the web. Built by suparMacho with SR3D and rendered in pov-ray. This just shows that LDraw/pov-ray still rocks when it comes to rendering. Looks absolutely amazing. And cool that it was built with Sergios tool. More info here (Via BrothersBrick) Quote
Jippon Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 (edited) Lego and Catan, two of my favorite things combined in one glorious moc! Now, all we need is for Lego to sign a deal with 999games and put this in production... how great would that be! Edited February 26, 2011 by Jippon Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Haha same here! I love playing Catan! I saw many others Lego Catans before too: Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 That's a rendering? Psst, TLG! I want this for LDD 5! Quote
Randal Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 This makes me want to explore other options for making Brick. Though, I sort of already have a set style that only LDD can provide. Quote
KartoffelViking Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Lego and Catan, two of my favorite things combined in one glorious moc! [snip] Two of my favourite things, too! Great work, Superkalle Love the tiles, and the sheep look great! Superkalle; can you do RoboRally next, please? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Great work, Superkalle Love the tiles, and the sheep look great! Superkalle; can you do RoboRally next, please? I'm 99.9% sure Superkalle didn't build this; he's just posting it to let us know what we should pester TLG for in the next major LDD release. Quote
Superkalle Posted February 28, 2011 Author Posted February 28, 2011 Brickdoctor is right, I didn't build it. If you click the provided link you get all the info about the builder. Even so, I'll clarify the first post Quote

Yes, we definitely need to have the LDD group give more options for exporting and rendering. That way, we could build a model, export it, and animate it, and make our own movies and games! Or at least a few more export options, for 3ds Max, Blender, Maya, Google SketchUp, etc. Quote
LEGOMAN132 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Thats very cool. One of the best games ever unless you are trying to study. Quote
