laserman Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) I have made a step-by-step instruction with pictures. It is quite simple and you don't need many lego-parts. I divide it into 2 building-parts: You can do all of the motorization. Or you can do only one part. If you want to motorize 2 or 3 parts, you need 1 battery pack and 1 infrared receiver only. Motorization the chassis Motorization the arm and the shovel The turntable is in progress!!! I just have to test if it works... Edited February 22, 2011 by laserman Quote
DLuders Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Your instructions are very clear and easy to read. Thanks for making them available! What rendering program did you use to create them? Quote
Vodnik Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) Just build the chassis motorization. It works, but both motors are touching the ground, so performance is poor... EDIT: But the arm and shovel motorization works great :) I modified the suspension a bit and now XL motors no longer touch ground and mobility is greatly improved :) Edited September 22, 2015 by Vodnik Quote
lsandhaus Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 How did you modify the suspension to accomodate the XL motors? Quote
