efferman Posted February 3, 2011 Author Posted February 3, 2011 (edited) thanks so, the windscreen is added, only the seats are currently missing and i have a current weight of 1250 grams. i think it is not enough from the weight on the front axle. look the vid the battery (lego LiPo) is currently behind the rearaxle. i think i must find a place under the hood, but in fact there is no space. an other hard nut Edited February 3, 2011 by efferman Quote

You're always gonna get torque twist like that with a single driveline live axle chassis, in the new chassis with the counter rotating driveshafts this is eliminated, but even the with the battery sat as low as possible, behind the front axle the c.o.g is too high... best i can get out of it is about a 45-50 degree climb before it slips or flips... i think i'm gonna have to sacrifice a nice short wheelbase and go 6x6 for my next truck.... Zerobricks Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 (edited) Well the rear axles you shown me use a lot of bricks not available in LDD as those bionicle parts, suspension arms and diffs I hope your jeep uses more standard parts? Edited February 5, 2011 by Zblj Quote
GuiliuG Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Your jeep looks great ! I particulary like the steering with the small La. Regarding this picture : I have a question : does somebody ever break 20t or 16t clutch gear? Quote
efferman Posted February 5, 2011 Author Posted February 5, 2011 Well the rear axles you shown me use a lot of bricks not available in LDD as those bionicle parts, suspension arms and diffs I hope your jeep uses more standard parts? on the front axle i use two rahkshi chest sections, two linear actuator holder, six of the new black perpendicular axle joiners, two black gear racks from 8043 and a mini LA. all other parts are more or less "standard". but the problem with ldd is that it have not all standard parts. maybe it is mit possible with SR3d. it has the most special parts and all standard parts Your jeep looks great ! I particulary like the steering with the small La. Regarding this picture : I have a question : does somebody ever break 20t or 16t clutch gear? many thanks, and no this gears are not yet broken by me Quote

Zerobricks Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I did the LDD model. The wheels, bionicle and new connectors are missing, eevrything else is there. All gears are meshed. Download LDD model here: DOWNLOAD Quote
efferman Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) Many many thanks For people who want it build, i have some hints: The normal 94.8 rims works too with the chassis. it would only be wider. The Black springs are working good with the naked chassis. By using with a Body, maybe the grey springs working better. the black springs on the front, are was compresssed from the willys body the half of thhttp://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?app=forums&module=post§ion=post&do=reply_post&f=115&t=51058e way. the 20 tooth bevel gear in the next pic is the weakpoint of the drivetrain. before you go in heavy terrain, control that the parts in this area fits tight, to minimize the Gear slipping. maybe you will find a way to secure it better than me. for allwheel steering only build the frontaxle two times. and now have fun Edited February 7, 2011 by efferman Quote

Download LDD model here: Would you mind exporting to a LDR file? I have no skill with LDD and the few times I have tried to export someone's file it has gone very badly. If I could open this in LDraw tools, I'd like to take a closer look and do some renders of it. Quote
