DLuders Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 On his Flickr photostream, _lichtblau_ posted three images and 4-page Building Instructions for his Lego AC Shelby Cobra car. He wrote that "The AC Shelby Cobra is one of my favourite cars and I already did a lot of attempts to build a 6-wide version of it. This is the latest one and perhaps it's not 100% perfect but I think it is nevertheless a nice little roadster. I've created some instructions for the Cobra....I've chosen a kind of lightblue/orange Le Mans color scheme for better visibility, some parts are not available in this colors! I'm often inspired by other people's MOCs and change/redesign them to my own liking. So, have fun to build your own copy of the Cobra...I'd love to see your improved versions and different color schemes! Enjoy!" Quote
prateek Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 (edited) <-- This was my actual expression when I saw the first picture! If I had all the pieces needed, I would make this right away! Thanks for posting this No illegal steps means I can make this in LDD! Edited December 25, 2010 by prateek Quote
Zerobricks Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Woah, good job! Do the wheels spin? Quote
prateek Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 (edited) Woah, good job! Do the wheels spin? Sadly they don't. The creator mentioned it in the last step of the instructions. When I built it on LDD, I substituted the wheel assembly with this holder, and this wheel assembly. Edited December 25, 2010 by prateek Quote
Jurgen Krooshoop Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 I like this very much. Small, cute & realistic. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 That is a brilliant model, I thank the maker for the instructions! Quote
legomaniac83 Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Now that is one slick car! Love the detail in it, and it looks like the real thing. I think I might have to attempt to build this...... Quote
buddy Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 (edited) This creation is a very accurate rendition of the real thing. There are some great techniques used on this model. ~buddy~ Edited December 28, 2010 by buddy Quote
Skafte Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 I had to make a few. Took a bunch of BL orders, but it was worth it! Quote
