Crtlego Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Hey everybody! I just wanted to present a couple videos of my new trial truck.. THE MINI 4X4!! Its name pretty much sums up everything. It has four wheel drive powered by an RC buggy motor, and four wheel independent steering using 2 M Motors. It has pendular suspension via two turntables and two rubber bands. For now I will post the videos and I will go into detail in a later post as I am quite busy right now.. Here is the primary video.. And here is the video of it offroading.. Enjoy!! I'll be back with more details and V2 soon!! Quote
yoraish Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Looks very nice! I like the steering alot. But you should absolutely (as you mentioned) distribute the wight better. And then its capabilities will surely rise Quote
Zerobricks Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Too bad you cant relase the RC motor's full power with PF. Good job none the less. Quote
Crtlego Posted December 13, 2010 Author Posted December 13, 2010 Looks very nice! I like the steering alot. But you should absolutely (as you mentioned) distribute the wight better. And then its capabilities will surely rise Thanks.. That is exactly what I decided to change in version 2 and fortunately it helped a LOT! Too bad you cant relase the RC motor's full power with PF. Good job none the less. Yes that is the main problem with the truck. Like you said the RC is not able to perform as well with PF and although it may not be apparent at all times during the video, the truck slows down when under stress and the engine's whining lowers and eventually stops. - This is V2 which I actually finished a while ago but haven't got time to publish it until now. The major change is the weight distribution which is centered in the center module.. Here is the video of V2. Here is the video of the V2 offroading! Enjoy! Quote
