Orlego Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 Edit by Orlego: This topic is now closed Does anyone have any Lego Christmas train ideas or pics? Or any general Lego Christmas ideas or pics you would like to share?
jonfett Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 Hmm.. well I don't have any train ideas but I was planning to create a large-ish lego christmas tree. Like the small one made by lego with the 1x2 slopes but it a larger scale. I always thought this one was too small. I will let you know what I do and I am sure I will post pics. But I am working on something else right now, you will find out soon! ;) Jon.
David85 Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 I'm trying to get around and setting up my Lego town, but haven't had the time, it probably won't go up until like Dec. 23. When I do I hope to have a park in the middle with a Christmas tree, but I'm having problems designing it so it doesn't look like megablock.

I'm having the same problem with designing my Christmas layout. When you get it all done please let us know. Damn, you don't have a camera to post pics... right?
David85 Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 I'll make my boyfriend take some pictures. I was going to get a camra for Christmas, but I don't know where that idea went.

jonfett Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 That looks good John, the sleigh is full with nice colourful presents which is good. Maybe some of them are lego! As for the reindeer, I found a couple of good ones on Brickshelf. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=105184 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=76170 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=23905 It would be nice to see something like these. Or maybe you could just use brown horses with some horns on them, to attach them to the head you could oen of these. I would love to see what you do! Jon.
ImperialJohn Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Well I figured out that something is missing. I have no handles for the alf's to hang on to. :( So final vesion is not yet ready ;) I don't like the first reindeer much. But the second and third are great. Let's see I might use one of them. BTW that second sleigh is great. I feel like having given my Santa a Skoda next to that Rolls.
ImperialJohn Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 HM. I did some changes to make my own version :) Note that the head moves :$ More to come *wub* So stay tuned on Christmastown2004
Orlego Posted December 5, 2004 Author Posted December 5, 2004 Thanks for the pics & ideas Jon & John. I love the reindeer and the sleigh kicks megablock. :oD
jonfett Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 They look great John! The different colours really work well and I like how you did the horns on rudolph. Maybe you could make a little diorama with the sleigh on a snowy roof with santa down a chimney? Jon.
ImperialJohn Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Maybe you could make a little diorama with the sleigh on a snowy roof with santa down a chimney? I have been thinking about some kind of automatic that moves Santa up and down the chimney :$ We shall see what happens ;) I love the reindeer and the sleigh kicks megablock Thanks. It is even better that the A-word :D
ApophisV Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Wow, thats looking very good! I like the uncomplicated but accurate look of the reindeers!
