DLuders Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 An acquaintance of mine is experiencing problems with Lego Digital Designer (LDD) 4.0 shutting down when he adds a part to his baseplate. See his YouTube video below. Does anybody have an explanation for this error, or know what he can do about it? Any suggestions would be welcome to help troubleshoot this error. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W48x_dCCuxs Quote

Check out the FAQ section here. Try it out and post here if it worked. (PS: Like Zbjl said - when you uninstall LDD, the preferences.ini file is left, so even after installing again, you are effectivlty using the "old" preferences.ini) EDIT: I guess in your case (since LDD isn't quiting on you direct at start up) - you could just go Edit > Preferences and uncheck the "High quality rendering of bricks on the scene". I unchecked the high quality thing, and it's working fine now! Thank you! Quote
Superkalle Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I unchecked the high quality thing, and it's working fine now! Thank you! Glad it worked. Make sure you upgrade your graphics card drivers. Then it might be possible to turn it back on. Quote
