Not all my MOCs make it and this is how far I got it:

The main problem is the 4L axles slide out of idfferential assembly. Other than being a bit heavy and hard on motors, there were no real issues, the suspesnion had A LOT of travel but all in all it felt too bloated. With soem mods it would make a good chassis for a supercar though!

For ridiculous suspension, you can't beat Grazi's monster truck. Doesn't really drive though.

I guess you use those old red universal joints because they can handle higher torque?

Shame the MOC failed, that suspension looks wicked indeed.

Wow!!! It looks really good for a "Failed MOC"..

From the pictures it seems to be one of the nicest looking trial trucks I've seen recently and everything just seems to fit perfectly..

I like the use of the turntables for each wheel. I was wondering though whether that differential could hold in a truck of that size. I've been working on various trucks that I unfortunately haven't had the time to publish and I've been using that differential because it fits much better but when I'm done the teeth are always duller and some are destroyed completely. I had to order 4 more differentials to replace the ones I had damaged but I like the design.

"The main problem is the 4L axles slide out of idfferential assembly" Something you can do is to put an axle connector and have two axles, one to the differential and one to the wheel. By keeping the connector in place via some lego brick attached to the frame then the axle won't slip out.

I thin kit looks awesome. Too bad it didn't make it all the way. Your pictures are gigantic, I'd suggest resizing them a bit smaller.

What did you quit this truck to build?

Problem the axles slip from wheels is also because the turntables have internal planetary gears in ratio of 1:3, so there is much less load on diff. On the other side this gives the axles much more free air to slide. I may dump the diff and replace it with a 12-36 tooth gear combo.

That's a shame it didn't work so well. The idea for planetary reduction looks very similar to a JCB i'm working on right now. I have built the axles and they work very well, maybe you could try them.

The dark grey axles on the front are supposed to be the new 4 long with stop axle, but I only have the 3 long in MLcad at the moment.

P.S. I would love to see another photo behind the wheels of your truck so we could see how you planetary gearing is set up.
