jantjeuh Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Found this little gem on Ingmar's MOC page, thought it was pretty cool and deserved its own topic. Rotating is done by a micromotor, since I do have two and no investment had to be done I thought it was OK to use one. It is very light and no gear reduction was necessary since I use a 8 tooth gear on the technic turntable. With small creations like this you have to make sure not to squeeze in to much stuff. Even though the grapple is rather large for the scale of 1:17,5 I think it is great to have one. He has posted building instructions as well, which can be found here.
