Zerobricks Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 The last of the tips on truck design. This time I explained, why more wight in front is better, and why a shorter truck is better than a long one. Thanks for watching! Quote
nico71 Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Great ! But I am not sure that small truck is good for stability. :) Quote
Milan Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Nice. I like your series of TT videos! Thanks for effort! Quote
Zerobricks Posted August 29, 2010 Author Posted August 29, 2010 Thanks! This is the last tip regarding truck design, the enxt one will be about control. After that i'm washed out of my knowledge Quote
dolittle Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Hi, Have you tried to do a model where the weight can be moved - on a moving axle? Or have a two motor solution one for the front wheels and another for the back ones - which would operate together (same direction)? Thanks, Noam Quote
Zerobricks Posted August 30, 2010 Author Posted August 30, 2010 I had a truck, who had one motor for front two axeels,a nd a second for rear axles, but that model used worm gears: Need to make a succesor for it soon :) Quote

I personally distribute weight like this: 60% front 40%rear. Quote
