efferman Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) in the topic for the Technic Challenge "Cranes" i have posted two pics from my City Crane in miniscale. Now i will go a little bit in the Details. I have used 37x18R Tires and all four wheels are steered by a massive link. In the center of the 21studs long chassis is placed the big turntable. on top of these rotates the "superstructure" with the boom and the Drivers Cab. The Linear Actuator, which lifts the Boom, is powered by hand of god at the end of the superstructure. The Telescopic boom is locked by a axle 4L with stop. The Outriggers are locked by 4 Studs long links After the Pics from Yesterday i modified the Cassis platform and the mudguards the complete Gallery you find at Brickshelf when the folder is online Please talk if you have questions or suggestions p.s. all pics are thumbnails Edited August 12, 2010 by efferman Quote
shimon Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 i like it! a great amount of functions for that scale all you need now is some detailing you may replace some beam parts for technic connectors put together so it wont have so many holes in it and look better good luck at the contest Quote
