This archive will assist you in determing how much you should be paying whether it be an auction, BrickLink, another person or store in the real world. So before you make your purchase you come to this forum and then compare the price. The fastest way to use the archive is to click the Search link in the top right hand side of the forum webpage. Then type in the name of the set or part that you're looking into the Search by Keywords and press Perform the Search Here is an example using "Imperial" as the keyword. Quote

In order to contribute to The Imperial Trading Post Records you need to rank high enough in the Pirate Ranking System. IMPORTANT: Sets are now sub-categorized by the location of their auction so bare this in mind when searching for a thread of a particular set as there may a thread with the identical name in each of the location sub-forums. How to Add a set to the Archive Find the thread for set you archive. The fastest way to find a set is to click the Search link in the top right hand side of the forum webpage. (More information further down thread)If there's ISN'T a thread for the set you may create one, but it is not necessary to create 2 threads for the same set. Create a new post then Copy & Paste the auction details and picture into that post. The auction details include the Winning Bid, Auction End Time & Date, Shipping Costs and Item Location. All a very important as the influence the final price. Provide a link to the auction. But remember, eBay only keeps auctions in its database for 90 days so its imperative that the auction details be Copy & Pasted into the thread and the image be uploaded to a Brickshelf folder otherwise they'll be lost forever. MIB - Mint In Box - A set which has been opened and is complete with box and instructions in immaculent condition. MISB - Mint In Sealed Box - A set which has never been opened for. How to format eBay auctions Tilte = Set number + Set name + Condition Description = eBay Auction Insert eBay Image (remember to upload into Brickshelf or similiar webiste) (the below can simply be copy and pasted from the auction webpage) Winning bid: (preferably in US dollars) End time: Postage costs: Posts to: Item location: Number of bids: If the auction lacks images just write "Image of item not available" in place of the image.
