nxt trial truck question

has anyone built a trial truck just using parts from an nxt set and if so do you have any instuctions of description

I saw thatat one the problem with that is that it uses power functions as well, I would like a trial truck that is built just using parts from an nxt 2.0 set

You could possibly adapt this NXT Dune Buggy into a Trial Truck: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/68758 . From the link on that website, I'm sure you could contact the builder (NXTLiftBoy) for some tips.

Here's a video by "preedalist" about his "Lego Mindstorms Humvy" -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDtp_EQjRlQ...feature=channel . He wrote, "This robot is from the NXT 2.0 original set, the other four wheels are from the old Mindstorms kits (Off Road Truck)." It shoots projectiles at empty drink bottles!

ATR has done NXT truck trial models to good success. ATR's chassis design is really very good and his specific knowledge in getting his mobile phone to operate the bluetooth remote is key. An aspect that ruled this out for me.

I found it easier, quicker and cheaper to make my own 4 speed remote gearbox using 2 sequentially operated PF m motor switched gearboxes.
