When I first noticed the Galidor sets, they were being clearanced from TRU stores for between $1 and $3. I couldn't believe they were a Lego product as they, well, didn't seem right. I bought quite a number of sets for my young sons as they appeared to be perfect for young boys to play with and they were so cheap. Slowly, the parts crept into my mocs, especially when the colors matched and certain parts fit the theme of my mocs *wacko* -Thanks ApophisV, at least I found a shield in the correct color (oxblood) bfs Quote
SuvieD Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 I really like the bio feel this has. Very much looks living. I would have hade matching colors for the chest, shoulder and tail though. The instant transition isn't as nice as it the gradual one in the wings. Still it does look good. The legs (at least the upper leg) seem a little thin on this MOC but I understand why if adding parts would limit mobility. Do you have a "family" shot of all these you could take or do they all get taken apart after completion? Quote

The Italian flag colours gives it such a nice feel !! Also the new Piraka balls (or whatever their names is) gives a real nice organic look/feel !! I really built the whole moc around those beautiful green and red dragon wings, so if color transistion seems a bit rough, its the best I could do based on my parts available, while trying to stay in the color scheme *wacko* -xwingyoda, The red and green of the Italian flag was really not the reason for the color choices, the dragon wings were, although my maternal grandmother imigrated to the States from Italy so for her sake, I'll say that's part of the reason :-) -JoeM16, thanks. -gylman, :-D You found me out !
