Skinny Boy Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 On Bricklink, how does the payment system work? It says all prices in dollars but how does that work? ;)
jonfett Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Questions about Bricklink are not too do with the running of Eurobricks, I will split this topic and close your original one as you seem to have an answer to that. In answer to your question, the site is an American run site so prices are in US dollars. When you pay for an order, based on where the seller lives, your total will be converted in the relevant curreny eg, Euro or Pounds.. Your question was a little vague so ask a more detailed one if I haven't covered what you want to know. Jon.
ApophisV Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Every seller converts it like he wants to. There are some sellers here in Germany that always convert with the same course like e.g. 1 $ = 0,90

Jon. jon, don't you think you should move this to the buy/sell/trade forum? to add to jon's answer. the entire world uses dollars, so it's not illogical to have prices in dolars. Also, it's more profitable to sell in dollars than in euro, from a european point of view, that is, except for those poor british.... and the americans.. well, they're using dollars anyway...
