ApophisV Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Hey all, this is a preview of my WIP Sigship, the "Moth". I'm still working on it, but the overall shape is already finished. The top fin is inspired by that pre-imperial shuttle you can see at the end of SW Episode 3, though the similarity between those two crafts was originally not intended. When finished it will feature: - Retractable Landing gear - Complete interior featuring a bed, kitchen, shower, cockpit,... - My SigFig in space overall aboard So stay tuned for the final product! Chuck Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I like it, but i would take off those engine pods on the wings. -l2k- Quote

If you decide to keep them there, you should just replace them with brick-built engines instead. -l2k- Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I agree with Lego2000, the engines look out of place. If you decided to keep them, I suggest making slopes towards it from the front. Hope you get what I mean Other then that: very nice ship! Just when I think I've made something good, you've done even better. Great job  Quote
JoeMI6 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Very nice, i really like that. I can't wait to see the finished product. Keep up the good work. Quote

Starwars4J Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I really like the design of the trans screens, with the two smaller cockpits on either side to take away from making it boring I have to ask though, is this all in bley? Looks very nice Quote

Looks very nice It appears to be a combination of bley and old gray. That is right, there are two reasons for this: - I mixed several of my Star Wars sets for this creations, both old colored ones (AT-AT,...) and some with the new colors (Millenium Falcon,...) - I really like the look one can achieve by randomly taking old or new grey. It looks more realistic to me since a space vehicle (espcially those that are able to do atmospheric flights too) will look "dirty" after some time of usage. (And as I said to Aredhel while building: "Whoaw, this is probably the biggest scrap heap I ever constructed!" :-D ) Quote
