Gotha love this one!

It has everything.

I like the video of it, too.

When I look at your brickshelf page, it is clearly you had a long way until this master piece!

I've seen this on Brickshelf before. This is one of my favorite trial trucks due to its fairly compact size, and it still has all the functionality of larger models. It has inspired me to start working on my own in fact.

Wow, awesome design!

Would be cool to have a parts list and instructions :) Or at least lots more photos! The bricklink page is down at the moment, is there more detailed info there?

What Lego models did you use for parts?

Few sets are visible here, like pf and tracks may be from 8274, green panels from 8466, tires from 8297...

Brickshelf is working for me now so I could take a look at your photos.

The portal axle you have created is very interesting indeed and really smart, you must know a fair bit about offroad trial trucks. A friend of mine has an RC Tamiya offroad truck and that has the live axle too, although it doesn't feature the portal system.

Do you have a problem with gears breaking with this model? Is there a large strain on the system?

Looks really cool, if I had the spares I'd build it myself :)

Only one 12 tooth gear broke once, but so far no problems! Strain is always high by these machiines, the way you contain that strain makes the difference :)
