Yep, that's a nice model. I'm always amazed by how detailed some people can model.

Wow!!!!

Those look both very impressive. The church is great, but the dome is very very impressive!!! It shows really every little detail the dome has got...WOW!!!

this is one of the most impressive lego mocs i've seen! it's not so much the size of the Dom, it's those things you don't see:

1) you need to map all details

2) you need to organise the project

3) you need to come up with all sorts of solutions, like what parts to use, check if that's attractive, check if that works in the context of the rest of the building

4) you need to have a lot of patience

5) you need to have an insight in building large mocs,...

in short, you need to be a huge fanatic!

wow! those are amazing! and if you didnt notice, on the top of teh church, there is a tone of light grey minifigs as statues in the wall!

Agreed. It's a lot smaller and with less bricks it's harder to build details. So, although my jaws dropped three floors the first time I saw the dome, the more I'm intrigued by smaller models now.

Looking at the gallery of the first church again it looks a lot like a version of Notre Dame...
