I always liked Shell tankers and stations from the early 70's when I first got into Lego, and when I saw set 1252-1 a few years ago, I thought it was far too small and unrealistic. Teddy Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 What a lovely truck. I like your design a lot. It is far superior to the 1252-1. Took me some fiddling to get to your brickshelf folder. I assume you mean the chrome silver tanks !(?) I concider them as quite unusual, and they were part of a Lego 4 Juniors, set 4652, which I bought two set of, just to get those tanks, back in 2003 ! Lego ref = 45408, I saw there were a few on BL. Size of them are rather 1,5 x 4 studs, so in between the two tanks I put 3 x 3701 (Technic brick 1x4) + over them some half-stud tiles to get the complete package in center of the 6-wide truck. Here are the two trucks that I have, with those special fuel tanks. Quote
